Our trip began with a flight delay to the Washington Dulles airport which would have caused us to miss our overnight flight to Moscow, Russia. A quick three-hour drive got us to Dulles in time for the international flight, and we were off (and sleeping). Our trip included four days in Moscow, followed by six days aboard a river boat traveling north and west, and then four days in St. Petersburg.
